New Delhi: Last 4-5 years have seen the emergence of filmmakers who are ready to bring innovation to the horror genre. The latest to join the list is Kannan Iyer whose ambitious project 'Ek Thi Daayan' is ready to influence the audience's mind.
The film revolves around a sought after magician Bobo (Emraan Hashmi) and his wife Tamara (Huma Qureshi). Situations change at great speed and suddenly Bobo finds himself trapped within his own mind as he starts hallucinating.
Soon, he realises that the secret to his problems has roots in his childhood. Now, he needs to solve the mystery of the omnipresent 'daayan' if he wants the peace of his mind back.
Vishal Bhardwaj and Mukul Sharma have written the story of 'Ek Thi Daayan' while Ekta Kapoor has produced it. The film has been promoted well and thus every eye is on the outcome of Vishal Bhardwaj's collaboration with Ekta Kapoor.
