Mumbai: A major fire broke out at the Deonar dumping ground in Mumbai late on Sunday night. Fire tenders were rushed to spot to contain the fire, which reportedly could not be doused till Monday morning.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis had then ordered an inquiry into the fire which had covered Mumbai under thick smog for several days.
