Gali custody, bail hearing on Sept 29

HYDERABAD: The Special CBI court on Friday re-posted the hearing on CBI’s petition seeking custody of Obulapuram Mining Company managing director BV Srinivas Reddy and director Gali Janardhan Reddy to September 29.After a six-day-long interrogation of the accused by the CBI that came to an end on September 19, the CBI’s counsel filed a petition in the court seeking a further nine-day-long custody of the accused to interrogate them further in connection with alleged illegal mining.Hearing on the two petitions, a petition for bail for Janaradhan Reddy and his brother-in-law Srinivas Reddy filed by Gali’s counsel and the CBI’s plea seeking custody of the accused would take place on Sept 29.
