BANGALORE: Alam Pasha, an industrialist who has filed a case in the Lokayukta Special Court against Industries Minister Murugesh Nirani has alleged that he is getting death threats from the minister.Addressing a press conference on Saturday, Pasha charged that the court is expected to deliver its judgement on October 24 and an attempt was being made to prevent him from attending the court. “The followers of Nirani want me to miss the court hearing so that the case is decided in minister’s favour,” he alleged. He claimed that Nirani instigated anti-social elements to trespass the property in Chikkathoguru and Doddathoguru villages, belonging to his company M/s Pash Space International Private Limited, after fully knowing the facts that the property was acquired by KIADB in 2004 and allotted to his company for consideration.Already, the entire money had been paid to KIADB, he said.Pasha added that there was no truth whatsoever in the Banana merchants’ allegations against him. “Despite this, the police have filed a FIR against me. The minister has joined hands with anti-social elements with the intention of threatening me, through the police. Being a minister, Nirani is trying to snatch away that property from me,” he alleged.
