Rahman elated over his daughter's success in board exams

New Delhi: Music composer AR Rahman has expressed his happiness over his daughter's mention worthy success in class 12th exams. He tweets, "This is a first in the family. My daughter Khatija excels in studies and scores 94% in her 12th public exams."

AR Rahman is married to Saira Banu and has three daughters Khatija, Rahima and Ameen. All of Rahman's daughters are interested in music and two of them have given their voice for film songs as well. Ameen has sung for 'Couples Retreat' while Khatija has sung for 'Enthiran'.

Rahman is understood to be a family man, who despite his busy schedule, spends time with his family. He had dedicated his Oscar win to his mother at the 81st Academy Awards.
