Indian Female Tennis sensation Sania Mirza emerged as the winner in the Sports category in the Indian of the Year 2015 hosted by CNN-News18.

New Delhi: Indian Female Tennis sensation Sania Mirza emerged as the winner in the Sports category in the Indian of the Year 2015 hosted by CNN-News18.

Receiving the award from Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, Sania said she felt humbled to have been acknowledged for her work and hoped she could continue her winning streak.

"No matter how many odds are stacked against you, if the almighty and fortune is on your side you will make it big," Sania added.
