Nutritionist Anjali Mukerjee recently dropped a post on her Instagram space where she explained the situation and said that controlling the phenomenon of ageing is beyond our reach but how we deal with it is not. She even listed a few dietary changes that may help people in slowing down the process of ageing. While recommending people set their own pace to cope with it, she suggested the following tips

  • Anjali recommended people start by altering their diet to make it healthier. Start eating loads of fresh fruits and vegetables as they will provide you with the necessary antioxidants.
  • Next, she advised people to lower their stress. To attain this, you can also start going to a counsellor or start meditating.
  • People should make sure that they are physically active and should start going to the gym or working out for at least an hour on a regular basis.
  • Engage with life and do things that you enjoy doing. Learn a new skill.
  • Get sufficient sleep and make sure that you sleep for at least 7-8 hours.
  • Taking supplements is crucial. For that, she recommended people figure out their micro-nutrient deficiencies or go to a health care practitioner who can help them in figuring it out and then take relevant supplements. By doing this, you will be able to prevent the degeneration that may be happening in your body.
