Kannada star Ravichandran’s youngest son Vikram Ravichandran is all set to star in the upcoming movie titled Mudhol. The first look of the movie had already gained significant attention and set the fans buzzing with excitement. The makers were looking for an actress for the movie. Now, as per the latest updates, the actress for Mudhol has been finalised and makers revealed the name. On the occasion of her birthday, it was officially reported that Sanjana Anand has been roped in to star opposite Vikram Ravichandran in Mudhol. Sanjana is known for her roles in Kushka and Salaga. She will be playing a special role in the action movie. Mudhol is touted to be a gangster movie, which will star Vikram Ravichandran in the lead role. It will also feature Abhilash in the supporting role.
Fans are waiting eagerly for the release of the movie. As per reports, the team completed the shoot in just 30 days. Mudhol is directed by Karthik Rajan and the first poster of the movie gave a sneak peek into Vikram Ravichandran’s character in the movie. Just by looking at the poster, one will quickly realise that Vikram Ravichandran aka Crazy Star Junior will be the one essaying the role of the gangster as he holds a machete in his hand and can be seen biting a bone. Standing beside him is a white coloured dog with a knife in its mouth.
The caption read, “Are you ready for the hunt?” The fans in the comment section went into a frenzy as they excitedly wrote how eager they were to catch the movie on the silver screen. A user commented, “Waiting for the release date, Anna.” Another commented, “The teaser is superb. Can’t wait for the movie now.”
Mudhol marks the directorial debut of Karthik Rajan. In an interview, he shared some insights regarding the name of the movie. He revealed that there is a place in Karnataka called Mudhol and also a dog breed called Mudhol Hound. The dog will be playing an important role in the movie. The name of the movie was decided by actor Ravichandran. When his son Vikram Ravichandran shared the story of the movie, he (Ravichandran) felt that Mudhol would be an apt title.
Mudhol is produced by Raksha Vijaykumar and Silju Kannan. The shoot of the movie took place in Shivamogga, Mudhol and Bengaluru.
