Actress Suhana Khan is looking forward to her much-anticipated film King starring her father and top-notch actor Shah Rukh Khan. Sujoy Ghosh has written and directed this film. Now, there is an interesting update from the film. According to a Times Now report, Shah Rukh will enact a professional assassin in this film who ends up protecting a girl whose entire family is killed. The report states that King is a remake of French actor Jean Reno’s 1994 directorial Leon: The Professional, directed by Luc Besson. In this French film, Jean Reno has no choice but to look after a 12-year-old girl after her family is wiped out. In King, Suhana will not play a 12-year-old girl. However, the basic plot of the film remains the same, ie- she is protected by the hitman played by her real-life father.
Besides Shah Rukh and Suhana, Abhishek Bachchan will also play a key role in the film. He has been roped in to portray the antagonist in King. According to Peeping Moon, Abhishek is an actor whose full potential has yet to be fully realised. He can astonish audiences when given complex roles. King presents him in an out-and-out negative role for the first time in such a large-scale commercial movie and he is sure to make a significant impact with his performance. The Jr Bachchan was surprised when he was offered this role but accepted it immediately, intrigued by the depth of his character.
Fahim Fazli and Abhay Verma will also act in the film.
Currently, Suhana is going through an intense workout regime ahead of her 3rd film. Recently, she shared an Instagram reel of doing exercises at the gym, showcasing her commitment to staying fit and strong. The young actress was powering through various exercises, including pull-ups, targeting her back, shoulders and arms. It was followed by the leg press, an exercise targeted at building strength in the legs, particularly the quadriceps, hamstrings and glutes. She then moved on to hip thrusts, which effectively exercised her glutes and hamstrings, increasing lower body strength. Next up were push-ups, a classic move that involves the chest, shoulders and triceps. To complete her intense session, Suhana performed deadlifts—perfect for building overall strength, especially in the back and glutes.
A recent report has revealed that King will be officially announced on Shah Rukh Khan’s birthday, November 2.
