The anticipation around the Telugu film Nindha headlined by Varun Sandesh is intensifying. Touted to be a thrilling cinematic masterpiece, fans are eagerly awaiting the release of the film in the theatres. Meanwhile, makers released the trailer on June 12 and sent the Telugu movie audience into a frenzy.
The opening of the trailer instantly sets the mood for the film. It begins with a clip of a car entering the voice-over in Telugu which when translated into English means, “The day justice fails a good person, is the day society crumbles." The scene cuts to a few people held as hostages and their face masks are removed. Despite being held against their will, they are treated with their favourite food and medicines on time. The hostages try to figure out what is happening to them and why they are in the situation.
The trailer further shows a suspect, whose relatives and neighbours claim that he is a good person, but all evidence is against him, which serves as proof that he has raped a young girl. Right under the name of the film, Nindha, it is written, “Kandrakota Mystery" which hints at a cryptic clue regarding the central theme of the film.
The fans were delighted to see the trailer. A comment read, “Trailer is very interesting. Dop and especially that BGM. All the very best to the whole team. Blockbuster loading. Varun Sandesh 2.0." Another commented, “Every frame looks beautiful." One more wrote, “It has been a long time since I have watched a good trailer. Waiting for this film."
Last month, the first look poster of the film increased the hype for the film. The poster piqued the interest of the audience with its look. Varun can be seen donning a serious expression and a shadowy create is behind him. It creates tension and a sense of unease in the minds of the audience. When the poster is flipped upside down, there is a statue of Nyaya Devata, the Hindu God of Justice. The line in the post, “inspired by true incidents" further adds to the anticipation.
Apart from Varun Sandesh, Nindha will feature Annie, Bhadram, Mime Madhu, Tanikella Bharani and others. It is written and directed by Rajesh Jagannadham and produced by The Fervent Indie Productions and the film will release on June 21 in theatres.
