A prominent name in the Kannada film industry, actor Upendra will be seen in UI next, dubbed as a surrealist action thriller. The star took to his official Instagram handle to share the exclusive behind-the-scenes clip from the film’s production and making. The short clip is recorded at the Europe schedule of the film, which itself is a teaser to a longer version of the clip, which is yet to be released. In the video, the actor is seen on a ferry, recording something on his phone. Then the clip changes to the actor engaged in discussion with a crew member.” The video is shared with the caption, “Where is the journey from “A to U I…? A to U I……. Journey of …?”

UI is being directed by Upendra himself, who has also penned its screenplay. The cast includes Upendra, Reeshma Nanaiah, Sunny Leone, Jisshu Sengupta, Murali Sharma and more. It is being produced by G Manoharan and Sreekanth K P under the banners of Lahari Films and Venus Entertainers. B Ajaneesh Loknath has been roped in to compose the music while the cinematography is under H C Venugopal and the editing is being done by Vijay Raj B G. Reportedly, the film is being made under a budget of Rs 100 crore.
