The Legend of Hanuman, a popular Indian mythological series is all set to make its comeback with its third season. The much-anticipated third season’s trailer has been released and promises to set the bar high for animated content in the future. While the character of the mighty superhero Hanuman is captivating, fans are stunned to witness Sharad Kelkar’s powerful voiceover as Ravan.

The trailer begins with Ravan declaring that he has mastered his rule over the world, and Lord Ram is in pursuit of freeing Sita from his captivity. This is when Hanuman comes into the scene, struggling to accept his vanar nature and gain control of his expanding might. The clip depicts Lord Ram and Hanuman’s epic battle to end the reign of agony by killing Ravan, while also teasing about the powerful Kumbhkaran. The clip piqued fans’ interest in the third season, which will stream on Disney Plus Hotstar on January 12, 2024.

The trailer has surely left the audience excited, who are showering their love on the clip and can’t seem to wait for the series to release. One user said, “Literally Goosebumps. Must be released in theatres," “Finally Waiting is over…. Very Excited for Season 3."

Sharad Kelkar, who has done the voiceover of Ravan in the series was quoted by Spotboye as saying, “ As a kid, I was always fascinated by the heavy laughter of Ravan and how it kept everyone on their toes and getting to do that was a big challenge because that laughter really needs to be one that takes the attention of all the viewers. I used to rehearse the laughter over and over again during the dub; so much so that I used to startle the crew members around me." He added that he grew up listening to the stories of Hanuman’s adventures and hence being a part of this series is “unimaginably surreal."

A report by Spotboye, mentioned that Sharad Devarajan, the co-founder and CEO of Graphic India and the Creator and Executive Producer of The Legend of Hanuman aims to create a visual spectacle that transcends age groups to connect audiences across India and the world through the series.
