Lucknow: Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Mulayam Singh Yadav on Sunday said that there is no danger to the UPA Government even after the Dravida Munnettra Kazhagam (DMK) decided to withdraw its ministers from the Union Cabinet. He said that there were some difference between the DMK and the Congress which were in the process of being sorted out.
"The Prime Minister had a talk with me three days ago. But, there was no talk of joining the government as we are already supporting the government from outside," Yadav said.
Another SP leader Mohan Singh said, "This is more of a tussle for between two parties in a coalition. DMK is a party that has been known to be a hard bargainer. We are just a silent spectator to this tussle. We are not going to make a comment on this matter right now."
Singh also said that the SP would be very cautious in its decisions as far as Congress is concerned and that no one from the Congress had approached them regarding any invitation to join the UPA Government.
The DMK on Saturday pulled out of the UPA after seat-sharing talks for the Tamil Nadu elections broke down.
