New Delhi: In continuation with its measures at improving user security on its microblogging platform, Twitter has announced a new feature that lets you share the list of all those accounts you have blocked.

Twitter notes on its blog that the sophisticated tool is in addition to the existing ‘mute’ and ‘block’ tools, and lets you export and share your block lists with other users or import others’ list to make the site safer in general.

The new feature also makes blocking multiple accounts easy, fast, and community driven. You no longer need to block the accounts individually.

In order to export or import the block list of a user, navigate to your blocked accounts settings on twitter.com. Click on the advanced options drop-down menu and select the action you want to take.

To download a list of your blocked accounts, select the export option and confirm the accounts you want to export.

The microblogging site has been continuously pepping up its users’ security by adding new tools and tweaking its user guideline after the company’s chief acknowledged the fact that the site has not been able to do enough to protect user privacy.
