The stray dog set off on a bus journey, winning the hearts of passengers along the way. The explorer boarded a bus bound for Indiranagar from Marathahalli, effortlessly crossing the busy streets. The dog was clearly unaware that he was the centre of attention in the bus and made his way through among the passengers. Netizens shared varied responses in this clip. Some appreciated the kindness of the people around them and said, “I’m impressed that humans aren’t objecting to that bus! Nice to See,” “Thanks to the bus conductor and the driver.”
Interestingly, a user remarked, “It might sound crazy folks, Pets are legally allowed in BMTC buses and they can travel with a half (Children) ticket.”
There were many who lauded Bengaluru as the most pet-friendly city in the country. One user stated, “Bengaluru is so pet friendly..this is the proof. If you have a problem, go to another state.” Another person recounted a personal experience saying, “I have travelled through multiple cities in India. Bengaluru so far has treated my dog better than anywhere else in India, It’s also easier to find pet-friendly flats and restaurants here compared to other cities. It definitely shows how accepting this city is.”
While most people on the internet were happy to see the video, some also raised questions. Many said this was not safe and “Who will be responsible, if it bites and seriously injures anyone.”
