This wikiHow teaches you how to switch back to the regular map view (the one with roads) from satellite view in Google Maps for Android.
Open Google Maps on your Android. It’s the map icon typically found in the app drawer. You may also find it on the home screen.
Tap the ≡ menu. It’s at the the top-left corner of the screen.
Scroll down and tap Satellite. The map is now set to the default map view.
