New Delhi: Many thoughts filter through your mind when you stand for hours under a surprisingly hot November sun, waiting your turn to withdraw a rationed slice of your own money. Between the endless lines, that pesky guy constantly looking to cut the queue and the general air of negativity, not all your thoughts are holy.
But beyond the unholy thoughts is a state of zen and a little known fact about this state is that it turns even the average queue-stander into a subtle humorist.
Like every other aam aadmi, we too stood in lines - at the bank and then at the ATM - and through this trial by queue, started to see the funnier side of things.
