Temple festival from Tuesday

PARAVOOR:  Elaborate arrangements have been made by Vadakkekkara Hindu Matha Dharma Paripalana Sabha to conduct the 10-day festival at Moothakunnnam Sree Narayana Mangalam Temple which will begin on Tuesday.Ganapathiyingal Kalasabhishekam will be performed on Tuesday. The festival flag will be hoisted on Wednesday evening. A special pooja and kalasabhishekam will be performed on Saturday. A kalasabhishekam will be offered on Monday.Nine popular elephants will be paraded during the festival. The thidambu of the main deity will be carried by Thayankavu Manikandan. Ezhunnellippu will be held on all days of the festival.Kavadiyattom will be presented on February 7. Bhasmakavadiyattom at 9 pm will be a new item. The maholsavam will begin with Sreebali at 8 am on January 9. Kazhcha Sreebali will be held at 4 pm. Fire works will be held at 8 pm on February 9 and 10. The Pallivetta and Vilakkinezhunnellipu will begin at 1 am on February 10.Melsanthi T S Biju will supervise the rituals.
